Sometimes what you think you want and what you need are two very different things...
As a technical editor, Jeffrey Maddox deals with plenty of words, leaving him few to spare on people. The one person he can't hold at arm's length is his baby sister. Keeping Daisy from wrecking her newly rehabbed life by shacking up with her older married lover, Lonny, is the only reason he would impulsively text Lonny’s wife, Karyn. And then, meet with her at a coffee shop on a snowy night, ostensibly to convince her to stay with her philandering husband.
But after spending the night getting to know Karyn, Jeff wants something much more personalLonny’s wife. For himself.
Despite her misgivings about Jeff’s intentions, Karyn can't fight their attraction, especially when he sends her a late night booty call text. She's still not divorced yet, though she knows there's no way she'll return to her husband. But can an amazing night of conversationand even more amazing lovemakinglead to more than just one night of hot text?

"Hot Text is a very sexually intense short story that will keep you warm on a cold winter's night. Jeff is a very unlikable character but I loved his grouchy ways and his single-minded need to get what he wants no matter what. Karyn's character doesn't want to create waves even though her husband has filed for divorce. The first meeting between Jeff and Karyn is extremely awkward yet they fit, and as they continue to talk you see that they are made for each other. The sexual chemistry isn't present until a midnight text message and let me say all bets are off sexually when Karyn and Jeff finally decide to engage in passion. The sex is very intense, sensual, but so very hot with a little non-toxic paint, some food that gets in the way and a wine bottle. OMG! There is an awesome plot to the story as well and I couldn't stop reading once starting. There are a few secondary characters but Jeff and Karyn demand all of the reader's attention. I really, really, really enjoyed Hot Text and I was so sad to see Jeff and Karyn go." 5 StarsL.T Blue, Just Erotic Romance Reviews
"Hot Text is a beautifully written character study of two people who are almost complete opposites yet seem destined to be together. The love scenes are exceptionally hot, with plenty of foreplay, believable dialogue and a little humor to keep it even more real. Ms. Quinn has outdone herself with this story of everyday average characters that discover each other and themselves. Although Hot Text is a short story, it is the perfect length to curl up with on a lazy afternoon, with a pitcher of your favorite frozen drink -- you are going to need it -- and just enjoy!" 4.5 CherriesKennedia, Long and Short Reviews
"Overall, this was a sexy little number that kept me clicking the pages till the end. The raunchy sex kept me entertained and the epilogue at the end gave me some warm and fuzzies to balance it all out. A recommended read." 5 StarsNix, Scorching Hot Reviews
